install, then run

  • malware remover:  malwarebytes  
  • registry cleaner & defragmenter 
  • disk cleaner  
  • disk defragmenter   

if possible, to maintain a clean desktop, put access to the preceding utilities together in a folder entitled "utilities" in the start menu, not on the desktop

• others
  • unzip
  • uninstaller  (to remove mathematica player)
  • cdf player
  • test cdf player using mathematica demonstration  & cdf file  & nbp file (pick one)
